End to End

I'm loving this pleasant weather.  It's allowing me to get out and get some things painted.  I found these two end tables at a resale shop recently.  Cute?  Yes.  Forgettable?  Yes!

Nothing that a little paint can't fix!

I gave them two coats of ASCP Old White.

Then a coat of clear wax and dark wax with some distressing thrown in.

It sure helps to show off the detail on the legs!

Now the pair is in the shop!

I think I've found the antidote for "forgettable."

How great that you found a pair and both in good condition, Cyndi! I love the look. Did you leave the original stained parts on the top and drawers then or add to them? It actually looks darker in the after pictures. Maybe the Old White makes them appear that way.
