Oh Happy Day!

I'm a new blogger.  I have a full-time job as an elementary school principal.  I have a part-time job as a vendor at an antique mall.  I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother.  So what was I thinking when I decided to start a blog???

But I love it.  It's been a fun journey!  I still have lots to learn about the technical part of blogging, but I'm enjoying "meeting" lots of great people and sharing my passion for creative endeavors.

When I started my blog, Debbie at Debbiedoo's told me I needed to watermark my pictures.  Ok!  How???  Well, someone pointed me to Picnik and I've been using it ever since.  Simple to use.  No learning curve.  And then came the news.  Picnik was going away!  Say it ain't so!  I've worried for months about what I would use.  I've looked at other free programs and downloaded some but just didn't have time to figure them out.

Today I thought I'd check out another option: PicMonkey.  SOLD!
Three reasons why I love it-
        1.  Free
        2.  Easy
        3.  Lots of options

Losing Picnik will be painless now!  I'll be turning to PicMonkey for my editing needs.

So today is a happy day!  On top of that, it's Easter!  Thank you, Jesus for providing a way for us to be reconciled to Father God.

Thanks for the tip about PicMonkey!
I loved Picnik and will be taking advantage of the free premium goodies til the 19th! I just made some new blog buttons earlier today.

Isnt Picnik just moving to Google+?
I noticed most of the exact same template and features have already started working there.

That desk in the photo above is magnificent!! Love it!

Gee, Cyndi, you seem an old hand at this already! : ) I did just check out Picmonkey myself today after reading Brenda at Cozy Little House's post. It had me at "easy"! Free is good, too.

I use Live Writer to draft my posts after too many issues with blogger in the past and I watermark my pictures while I'm doing my posts. It's a free download from Windows, so there's another option for you, too. It's always a good idea whoever you use, as I have heard stories of people's pictures being used by others falsely.

Happy Easter!
