Chalk Up a Scripture

A couple of months ago I scores three of these awesome windows at a friend's garage sale.  I painted the frame of one, turned it into a chalkboard, and blogged about it here.

Last week I had my husband do some repair to the frame and cut me a board to make another chalkboard.  I decided to leave this one shabby white.  Once it was done, I looked for a scripture to fill the two panels.  Psalm 13:5-6 not only fit, but expressed my heart!

This is just chalked on so I guess whomever buys this one can keep it or erase it.

That's the beauty of a chalkboard!

Love it, Cyndi! Such a great shape to the frame. You did a great job on your chalk art writing, too.

So pretty and meaningful. I just love it through and through. What a great eye for design on the typography! You are quite the talent with chalk. I wish you were my neighbor because I'd be over to get you to write me something new on all my chalkboards every day! :)
